HeyTell® is a cross-platform voice messenger that enables instant communication with friends and family. It does not require an account—simply start the app, select a contact, and initiate conversation with the push of a button!

• PUSH NOTIFICATIONS keep you notified of incoming voice messages even when the app is closed.

TIP: If you didn't enable Push Notifications during installation, follow these steps to turn it on: Open the Apple Settings app, go to Notifications, ensure it's set to On, select HeyTell, and make sure that Badges and Alerts are both set to On.

HeyTell works seamlessly on any internet connection.

The audio quality is superior, delivering twice the frequency range of a normal cell phone call at 16 kHz.

If you have favorite messages, you can export them to email or Facebook!

You can even export your recorded messages to Facebook, Twitter, Email, and more!

There are various extras available through in-app purchases. These include alert tones customization, messaging groups, voice modulation, automatic message expiration and batch deletion, as well as the option to add emojis to your name!

You can quickly add or remove contacts as friends and have easy access to them by tapping the To: field and selecting "Friends."

Choose from three privacy levels depending on how users can connect with you:

1. Low Privacy: Anyone who has your contact information can connect with you without an invitation.
2. Medium Privacy: Anyone who has your contact information and is friends with one of your HeyTell friends can connect with you. Otherwise, they must invite you to connect.
3. High Privacy: No one can connect with you until you accept their invitation.

NOTE: Carriers may charge for SMS invites, but email invites and Low privacy direct connections should be free.

If desired, you can share your location with selected contacts while talking.

TIP: To send your location information to a contact, simply have the Maps page open (tap the Target button) when sending the HeyTell message. For privacy reasons, HeyTell does not send your location unless you explicitly approve by sending messages with Maps open.

Conversations can be saved and replayed offline or deleted on-demand.

TIP: Swipe left or right on the conversation and click the DELETE button to remove messages.

All data and audio transmitted through HeyTell and among users is encrypted during transit.

HeyTell supports iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch devices. (2G and 3G iPod Touches require an external microphone.)

Use HeyTell as a walkie talkie, intercom, or instant voice messaging system to send quick voice messages to friends and family who have iPhones or iPods. The integrated geolocation feature allows you to locate your friends when they've given you inaccurate directions and you're just around the corner!

TIP: If you receive an "INBOX FULL" message, there's no need to delete the app or messages. It simply means that your friend needs to listen to or respond to the messages you sent before they can receive more. Once they do, you can continue the conversation!
